6th Grade News Nov. 23-27 Conferences are to be held on Monday and Tuesday! We are looking forward to talking with you about your child's progress so far this year. Thanksgiving is nearly here! We have been talking about the many blessings we all have in our lives. Family is always one of the first things mentioned by the 6th graders. May you and your family have a blessed holiday together this year. *Grades came home on Friday! Language Arts: In addition to literature circle comprehension and fluency, we will be discussing verbs and word choice this week. Math: We will review concepts from units 1-3. Religion: People of the Old Testament will be our topic. This week we will focus on Sarah. Social: Life Skills with Mrs. Pohlen will help us identify with the world around us. Science: Changes in Matter is our focus. Spelling: We will review words from previous units this week. Reminders: Intentions: The Meyer family, Tessa's cousin, Luke Bunker's brother, Hanna's mom, Mark's cat, Emma's grandpa, Abbie's grandma, Luke Berkley's aunt, Aaron's chickens, Ryan's grandpa, Jacob Borchert's grandpa, Ms. Grose's mom, and all of our St. Mary's families.
