Welcome to 5th grade. We are excited to start another fantastic year at St. Mary's. In 5th grade we will be working on creating a community of learners who support and respect one another by starting each day with Morning Meeting. Through games, discussions, and sharing we will connect and be welcomed as we start each day. 

     To keep you well informed about the busy life of your fifth grader here at SMS, we will use a variety of communication tools. Most important is the daily planner. Please make sure all assignments are completed before signing each evening.  Tests, late assignments, field trips, etc. will be noted in the planner.  You may also check our website or the monthly newsletter for what is going on in the classroom.  A more detailed newsletter of events that have occurred in our classrooms will come home every other week in their Friday Folders.  Keep your eye out for "The 5th Grade News."   You may also contact us by e-mail or by phone.
