Language Arts

We will wrap up our fractured fairy tale unit by writing our own versions of The Three Little Pigs.  Students will create new tales by changing the characters and/or setting of this story. 

Next, we will begin Community Ties, a unit in which we will read excellent children's literature based on families and communities.

We continue to work with the trait of ideas in writing.  This month, the children will learn to develop their ideas with the goal of writing a "homerun."
