The Box Tops for Education Program is an easy way to earn money for Genet. Simply clip the pink Box Tops coupon from participating products (Juicy Juice, General Mills cereal, Ziploc bags, Pillsbury, and Betty Crocker among others) and send them in to school in an envelope marked Box Tops. NEW THIS YEAR! Write your child's name on the back of each box top you clip. Each month the PTO will hold a box tops drawing to win a Regal Cinemas movie ticket! You can also earn money for Genet by making on-line purchases through the Marketplace at the Box Tops website. Great Lakes Scrips Program Scrips is a program that enables non profit groups like schools to sell a variety of restaurant and retail store gift cards and earn a percentage of the sales back to support the organization. Genet will earn between 2% and 19% of the purchase price of each of the gift cards listed on the order form and will be able to use that money to support the school. At this time, the PTO will collect orders for gift cards once a month -- we have created order forms that contain a partial list of participating retailers, but you should feel free to browse the entire list of participating retailers and order gift cards to whatever stores/restaurants you would like. Just write the PTO a note explaining what you'd like to purchase if you see soemthing that isn't on our order form. All orders must be turned in with full payment by the last Friday of the month. Gift cards will be sent home to you approximately one week after the order deadline. As demand increases for gift cards, we will begin to place orders more frequently. A limited supply of gift cards to local businesses such as Dunkin Donuts, Panera, and Starbucks will be kept on hand and can be purchased through a PTO officer. Target will donate up to 1% of purchases you make with your REDcard (your Target credit card) to your chosen school. There is no easier way to support Genet. All you have to do is shop (if you need help with that, let us know!). To designate Genet as the recipient of Take Charge of Education funds, follow these easy instructions. · Enroll online. The Genet Elementary School Code number is 75912. · Call 1-800-316-6142 · Enroll at an in-store kiosk From September 14 to February 14, every dollar you spend at Price Chopper will help us secure new equipment for our school. Enroll Online: You will need to know your 10 digit advantage card number as well as the Genet Elementary school code, which is 15755. Once signed up, your enrollment is carried forward, year to year. You can also register at Price Chopper at the Customer Service desk. Last year, enough points were earned to purchase new equipment for the playground including basketballs, footballs, chalk, jump ropes and a tower to store it all on. Got questions about the program? Send in those Hannaford dollars! The Hannaford program is simple. Shop for your normal items and when you check out, your dollars are handed to you with your receipt. Drop them in the display at the store or send those dollars in an envelope marked Hannaford dollars. Viola! You’re done. The Hannaford program runs until December 4th. For every four participating products you buy, you earn $3 for Genet. Wondering which products qualify? The list is long and varied – Heinz, Kellogg, Glad, Keebler, Hannaford, Campbells, Tyson and more. The full product list is available on their web site at http://www.hannaford.com/hhs/.
