We have completed our ocean unit and are well on our way in studying the solar system.  The children are very interested in outer space.  Remember that the solar system projects are due April 16th.

 We are completing "American Snapshot" theme in reading.  We have read stories that have given us a sample of life in America.  We have read the novel, Sarah, Plain and Tall. It is a heartwarming story of life on the plains. 

The children did a wonderful job writing reports on the planets.  I learn something new with every report. 

In religion we are learning how to be truly happy by living the eight beatitudes and the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter.  It is so great that spring has sprung.
