Welcome to 1E!

Welcome to my web page! I am very excited to be teaching your child this year! As I begin the year with your children, I will encourage them to share personal experiences in order to build a sense of community and family among the class. I would like to begin by telling you a little bit about myself. I have been teaching here at St. Pius X School for thirteen years. Before teaching first grade, I taught kindergarten for five years. With this, I have gained much about children and thier cognitive, social and emotional development. I am also a mother of four children. Three whom are students at St. Pius X School. I have seen first hand how the everyday teaching of religion has played such a big role in my own children's experiences. I am looking forward to working with you and your child, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me via the school office and leave me a message on my voice mail.
