General Information for Parents

Parents are always welcome to participate in the "Passport to Understanding" program.  We welcome you as drivers - transporting OLM students to and from service sites - and/or as chaperones - joining OLM students in their service activities.

All participating parents must sign the Diocese of Rochester Volunteer Code of Conduct, undergo a criminal background check, and be trained in "Creating a Safe Environment". 

In addition, all volunteer drivers (parents and students alike) must complete an Our Lady of Mercy "Volunteer Driver Information Form" and complete a New York State DMV check.
