PASSPORT TO UNDERSTANDING

Our Lady of Mercy High School is committed to gospel values and the charisms of the Sisters of Mercy.  Jesus Christ served all those who were in need and articulated criteria for discipleship based on service to the "least of these".  Animated by the vision of Jesus, Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, saw the needs of her time and responded by reaching out to the poor, the sick and the uneducated.  Similarly, Our Lady of Mercy High School is dedicated to educating young women in this tradition of service for the needs of the twenty-first century.

"OUR CHARITY MUST BE IN OUR HEARTS AND FROM OUR HEARTS,
AND A CHARITY SUCH AS JESUS CHRIST PRACTICED WHILE ON EARTH."
                                                              - Catherine McAuley
