fry stage

Our fish eggs were delivered by Deep Creek Fly Fishers and planted in our tank.  We were able to observe the orange colored, eyed eggs for a few days.  We left for spring break, and when we came back there were still a few alevin.  Alevin is the stage where the yolk sac is still visible on the tummy of the fish.  Most of the fish had inflated their swim bladder and risen to the top of the tank and were swimming!
