CALIFORNIA SCIENCE

Our curriculum for Science is provided by Macmillan/McGraw-Hill as mandated by our district.

Life Science:   

Chapter 1 - Plant Life Cycles

          Lesson 1 - Plants and Their Parts (How are leaves alide and different?)

          Lesson 2 - Flowers and Fruits (What are the parts of a seed?)

          Lesson 3 - Plants Grow and Change (What will grow from a seed?)

          Lesson 4 - Plants and Their Environments (How do roots grow?)

     Chapter 2 - Life Cycles of Animals      

          Lesson 1 - Kinds of Animals (How can we put animals into groups?)

          Lesson 2 - Mammals (How are babies and adults alike and different?)

          Lesson 3 - Animals From Eggs (How do birds keep their eggs safe?)

          Lesson 4 - Animal Traits (How are zebras alike and different?)  

 

Earth Science:
