In the resource classroom your child will learn to study more effectively and organize material in a more efficient manner.  Your child will be taught skills that will help them to be more successful in their content classes.  They will also receive reinforcement and extra practice for their content courses.  The resource room should not be viewed as a study hall, while they may have some time to work on assignments that they are having difficulty on they should do their homework at home.  If your child needs extra help on an assignment they can ask for clarification at this time.

About Me

I've been teaching special education for 20 years in Cecil County at Rising Sun High School.  I have two children that attend Cecil County Public Schools, one in the middle school and the other in elementary school.  I have always made it a point to communicate with parents on a regular basis and welcome any help and support that parents can give.
