Can I easily get in touch with you?

Yes, go to the Home page and click on the e-mail icon that is next to Teacher Communication on the left of the screen.  You will "pop" onto the page that will put you in touch with my mailbox in the school computer system.  Just 'click' on my name which appears in blue.
In fact, I'd like to hear from each of you whenever the need arises. If you can't use the computer to communicate, please feel free to call the office at 467-8730 to leave a message with the secretaries or write a note to me and send it in with your child. I'll answer you just as soon as possible.

How often will this web page be updated?

I will try to update all homework assignments before I leave for home each day, or at least before 6:00 P.M., but sometimes I will not be able to update until later in the evening.
I will change the calendar and the news and announcements as the need arises.  You'll have to bookmark my Home Page and come back often!

Will there be a Spelling test every Friday?

For the first few weeks of school there will be traditional tests just about every week. But as the weeks go on, we may not have a formal test in the way that is "usual". This means that I may be dictating sentences for the students to copy or I may have them use a number of words in a 'story' to be used as a test.

Whose are the beautiful faces at the top of this page?

That beautiful dog is my "baby", Clancy.  I speak of him often to the children and I wanted all of you to see who I am talking about. (Aren't I just a proud mom?)  But I am sad to say that Clancy entered into rest on Christmas Day of 2011.
The other is my cat friend, King (better known as Kit or Kitty).  He lives in harmony with Clancy and me, but as with all felines, he's independent and aloof when he wants to be!  I speak about him too, but not quite as often as I speak about Clancy.
