Mastery Club

Mastery Club  

This is an optional club for students looking to go "above and beyond" our normal classroom expectations.   Interested? To get started, choose a subject on the left and learn about a topic that interests you.  You don’t have to do the challenges in order.  You may do your research and studying during your free time in school or at home. You may take notes to help you study, but you may not use them when you write down your answer.   When you think that you have mastered your challenge, write down your question number and answer and drop it in the Mastery Club Box.

How do I become a member?

 For each question that you answer correctly you will earn a star on your Mastery Club Chart. (Once you answer your first question correctly you will receive your chart).  You can become a member after completing just one challenge! You can be a one star member of the Mastery Club or you can go as high as 80! To be in the "Mastery Club Hall of Fame" you must be a 15 star member.

What is the Wall of Fame?

The "Mastery Club Wall of Fame" will be posted in my room and will remain there all year. Each topic challenge is worth one star and helps you earn a spot on the Mastery Club Wall of Fame. Once you earn fifteen stars, your name will be placed on this Wall of Fame. You can continue to complete other challenges to work your way up to 80 points which is the maximum number of points that you can earn. Once you earn 80 points you will have the special privilege of conducting research and developing new questions to be added to the Mastery Club. Have fun and good luck!
