January Calendar

OKLAHOMA

Musical Performance Dates:

            Thursday, March 1

             Friday, March 2        

             Saturday, March 3 

Play practice will be every day 2:45 – 5:00 after school, when school is in session or per the weekly calendar. *A calendar of rehearsal times will be available at:

Please be on time to all rehearsals.  If there is a valid reason why you will be late, you need to let Mrs. Hershey know in advance,so you are not marked unexcused.

You were chosen as a member of the cast, because the directors felt that you showed mature & responsible behavior and they knew they could count on you for leadership.

Student Promise:

           * I promise to use mature and respectful behavior at all times.

           * I promise not to run, scream, jump off the stage, leave the auditorium without   

              permission, be loud, rude or disruptive.

           * I understand that if my behavior is inappropriate or disruptive that there 

              will be no warnings, and I will be immediately terminated from the cast.

           * I will try my best to uphold the high standards of Chippewa Middle School.

Please bring your $12.00 activity fee – made out to Chippewa Middle School – by next Wednesday, Jan 12.

If you want to purchase a OKLAHOMA Musical cast  T-shirt the cost is $15.00– please turn in cash or make out a separate check to Chippewa Middle School and turn in by Wednesday, Jan 12. (Sizes S-M-L-XL-XXL)    *Write student’s name & size on the check

You must bring a folder marked OKLAHOMA with you full name on the outside and a pencil to every practice.

The Music Libretto (your song & dialogue book) remains the property of Chippewa.  You may only write softly with a pencil in the book, and upon return the pencil marks must all be erased.

If your Music Libretto is lost or damaged YOU will be charged $25.

If you are absent from school and will not be at rehearsal, please have a parent call and leave a message at 651-621-6477. Or email diane.hershey@moundsviewschools.org

Please have your ride home arranged according to your schedule.

You may bring a snack to eat before rehearsal starts, but no eating during rehearsal and no red juice. A water bottle is always a good idea.

No cell phones, Ipods or games in the auditorium or on stage.
