Challenge words: I am looking for the correct spelling of the word, part of speech* (noun, verb, adjective, or adverb), and one definition (there may be many). To finish, use the word correctly in a sentence. ex. blue- (adjective) Having the color of the sky, as seen in daylight. The color of my grandmother's eyes is blue. * some students are saying the word is a particular part of speech, but then defining the word and using it in their sentence in a different way. I am looking for the word, part or speech, definition, and sentence to be consistently used. ex. This is an example of inconsistent usage. blue- (noun) definition: A feeling you get when you are sad. sentence: The sky is blue. The definition is blue as an adjective, not as a noun.
