Parent and STAR volunteers

Parent volunteers in the classroom are GREATLY needed for the 2011/2012 third grade school year.

Guided reading is a core component to our English Language Arts (ELA)program at Genet.  This is small group, targeted reading instruction at assessed reading levels-parents, step-parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. will be welcomed to help keep other students on track with their work while guided reading is being undertaken by the smaller groups.

A request for volunteers will be going out soon after school begins-please consider this worthwhile investment in your child's education!
