We are driving into the end of the year already! Lot's more fun ahead before the year is over.

- Moms, don't forget to RSVP for the Mother's Day Tea event to be held in the classroom on Friday May 11th from 1:45-2:45pm. We hope you can come!
- Are you ready to GO THE DISTANCE to raise money for our school! Consider signing up to join a 24 hr relay team or run/walk a 5k on May 24!
- The Auction is April 27! Hope to see you all there. :)
Unit of Inquiry: From now until the end of the year we will be working on 2 new units of inquiry titled "Goods and Services" and "Plants and Animals". The central idea to our Goods and Services unit is that people create systems to exchange goods and services. Here is what the students will be inquiring about as we explore this topic: * How people exchange goods and services worldwide. * The difference between wants and needs. * What goods are and how they get to people. * How supply and demand effect what goods are made.
The central idea to our Plants and Animals is that organisms require basic needs to live. Here are the topics we will be inquiring about as we engage in this unit: * Identifying the needs of growing plants and animals. * Changes that occur as plants and animals grow. * Comparing the basic needs of plants and animals. * Understanding the structures and functions of organisms.
