MATH FLASHCARDS 

SHOULD BE PURCHASED THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL!

Dear Parents:

Please be sure to purchase MATH FLASH CARDS for your child!  You will need to buy Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division flash cards that your child can use at home for daily practice.  He/she needs to MEMORIZE ALL FACTS FROM 0 - 10 in Mulitiplication and Division.  Memorization of these facts is essential, in order for him/her to solve multi-step mathematical problems!

Math Flash Cards are sold at the following stores:

• Big Lots
• CVS Drugstores
• Rite Aid

KEEPING A JOURNAL OR DIARY

Parents!  Please also help your child write in a DAILY JOURNAL or DIARY at home.  This project is for YOUR information, only! Use it as a check-up to see how your child is progressing in her/his writing skills.  Keep this journal/diary at home and have your child use it as extra practice for improving writing skills.  Any lined notebook will do, so encourage your child to become a writer --- today!
