HOMEWORK POLICY

In Room 5, Third Grade students are expected to complete homework on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Friday nights are free for students to begin relaxing and enjoying their weekends!

Miss Chew hands out homework at the end of each school day.  Homework is very important follow-up work, and each student is responsible for his/her completion of homework.  Parents can and should assist their children, but they should not do the homework for them. 

If a student comes to school without his/her homework completed, he/she will need to make up that homework on THAT DAY, by completing work during morning or lunch recess. 

Friday Educational Game Time is a "fun time" at the end of the day on Fridays, when students engage in computer education games, board games, math bingo, etc.  This time is reserved only for students who follow all directions and who complete all work.
