'08 Regional Science Olympiad
Central High won 2nd Place in schools participating in the regional science olympiad at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.
I coached Trang and Vo, two immigrants from Vietnam in the categories of Astronomy, Ecology and Rocks and Minerals.
Trang and Vo won bronze medals in Astronomy and Rocks and Minerals.
Mr. Wayne Mullins, Dr. Marjorie Rothschild (head coach) and I co-coached Trang and Vo and other students in the competition.
Our strongest competitors were White Station High Teams A and B and Bartlett High.
Due to our placement, we were invited to participate in the state science olympiad in Knoxville, TN.
