I hope the students had a great holiday break!  In this month of January, we will be studying the author Jan Brett.  We will complete many activities in reading, math, social studies, and science related to her stories. 

In math we will be focusing on place value.  The students will be practicing to recognize the numbers 0-100. 

The students have enjoyed our Daily 5 program in reading.  I am very proud of the stamina my students have gained while reading to self and writing.
