Student Council will be collecting non-perishable food items at all of our concerts. Collected food will go to benefit Lighthouse Outreach Center.

Any details about the concerts will be posted under the "Concerts" section of Classroom News. Lyrics will be in the "My Resources" section will a list of the songs under Classroom News.

Special Thanks to Donorschoose.org and the donors who contributed to our drum project. Thanks to donations from many individuals and Parent Guild, our school has received the gift of 11 new high quality drums for use by all our students!!!!

Please check out our new Donorschoose.org project. We are trying to get a multimedia projector for the music room. Please consider donating to help us reach our goal!!!!!

Our music curriculum is designed around the National Standards for Music Education as designed and research by Music Educators National Conference (MENC), and the State of Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations for Arts Education. This creates a well-rounded music education that exposes your child to a wide variety of musical experience. The purpose of elementary music is to expose your child and prepare them for a life-long future as consumers of music.
