Founders Day Award

Each year, the Island Trees PTSA honors a special staff member with its Founders Day Award. Do you know someone at the Island Trees Memorial Middle School or Island Trees High School who has made a difference in their student1s lives? We all know someone whose selfless dedication and sincere concern for the students has greatly benefited the school community. Let us know who this special person is and what they have done, so we can properly honor them with the Founders Day Award! If you would like to nominate someone who you feel deserves this honor, please send us a nomination letter with the name of your nominee and the reason why you are nominating him/her. Please include your name and address as we cannot accept anonymous nominations. The Founders Day committee will read all of the nomination letters and choose the candidate with the most extraordinary letter. The Winner will be honored at the Island Trees district dinner on April 30, 2009.

Please forward your nominations in a sealed envelope to: PTSA Founders Day Committee and drop into the PTSA mailbox in the Middle School or High School.

All nominations must be received no later than March 20.
