Our Mission Statement:

"Community Education is a process which brings people and resources together to improve the quality of life by providing a variety of recreational, cultural and educational activities."

Bringing people and resources together

For Learning   If you want to learn something new, it's likely there are other people who want to learn the same thing. Education is a lifelong process, so no matter what your age Community Education keeps you moving ahead.

For Activities   We help put together activities people want in our community.

For Problem Solving   Working together, people can do things to make our community a better place to live. One of the classic functions of community education programs is to bring people together to improve their community.

The Unity Community Education Advisory Council seeks to include a cross section of persons to better represent the interests of the community.  We are currently seeking individuals to become part of our team, call us and check it out.

Check out upcoming "Classes and Events" on the left side of this page.

There are four ways to register for Community Education classes:
1) Fill out a registration form, and mail to the address above.  Checks can be paid to Community Education. You may print a registration form by clicking on the link below.

2) Call our office:  825-4599, or 825-2101, ext  1560.
3) E-mail registration information to: tworrell@unity.k12.wi.us
4) Online registration with a credit card is available for WITC classes.  Go to www.witc.edu, click on “ClassFinder”.

Many of our classes are offered in collaboration with Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC).  This is a great partnership that offers benefits such as Continuing Education Credits, and reduced rates for seniors aged 62 and older.  All classes are held at Unity School, unless otherwise noted.

Pre-registration is necessary for all classes and events.  Most classes and events are funded through user participation and may be cancelled if not enough people sign up. If class or event is cancelled, you will be notified by phone  during office hours.  Refunds may be issued in full prior to the start of a class or event.
