I can be reached before school by phone or email -- ckrupansky(at)conejo.k12.ca.us/ Students can retake or do "make-up tests" on Wed. at lunch in B-1 -- or, before school (I am usually at school by 7:15 -- but, make an appointment) I try to put the daily homework up on my website under HOMEWORK -- but, I really expect students to take responsibility for knowing their homework assignments and copying it in class (sometimes it will differ from the homework listed on the calendar) However, I will provide on-line the Table of Contents for each chapter packet. To locate a particular chapter Table of Contents, go to My Resources. I will usually update grades weekly and post them on Sunday nights. Grades will be posted by class and student I.D. number only. TIPS ON STUDYING FOR TESTS 1. Don't cram. 2. Study with a buddy. 3. Make flash cards. 4. Create a practice test. 5. Make a "study sheet" of important facts. 6. Eat breakfast. 7. Be sure to have necessary supplies. WHEN TAKING THE TEST... 1. Skim the whole test first -- so, you know what is expected of you. 2. Read the directions carefully. 3. Skip truly difficult questions -- and come back if you have time. 4. Look for "clue words." Always, none, all , everybody usually are words that mean you can eliminate the choice. 5. When using a separate answer sheet, make sure every once in awhile that you are answering the correct question (that question #7 matches space #7). 6. Check your work. Student Tips -- thanks to The Parent Institute If we all work together,(parents, students, and teacher), this will be the best year yet!
