Cardinal Quickie Mart

The Cardinal Quickie Mart opens for business every Friday afternoon. Students take turns shopping with their Dazzling Dollars. Items range in price from $1 to $25. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to figure out what they can afford. A store clerk helps make change. Students can choose to spend or save their money.

Dazzling Dollars

Students have many opportunities throughout the week
to earn Dazzling Dollars.

Students will earn 1 Dazzling Dollar for:

returning their homework folder
returning the Reading Log
returning their weekly signature slip
moving their car to green only once in a week
receiving 5 Pearson stickers

Students will earn 3 Dazzling Dollars for:

staying in the parking lot for a full week
filling their Pearson Sticker Chart
successfully completing a classroom job

Students can purchase Share Passes from our Cardinal Quickie Mart for ten Dazzling Dollars. They can be used on Mondays - Thursday and can be used for any item the student chooses.

Students get the opportunity to share information
about their item...
-where they got it
-who gave it to them
-what it does
-why it is special to them

They also get the opportunity to allow the other students
to explore their share, if they so choose.
