Poetry Center

In Poetry Center, we are:

Working with pictures and describing words to create Haikus
Finding poetry in books to create "Found Poems"
Creating poetry to accompany another student's illustration

Guided Reading

What is Guided Reading?
Guided reading is a teaching approach designed to help students learn how to process a variety of increasingly difficult texts with understanding and fluency. During Guided Reading, the teacher selects an appropriately leveled book and provides supportive teaching to help students.
