Our first two days were great. The students have picked up rules and procedures quickly. I am looking forward to a great year!! Buckaroos, get plenty of rest this weekend, because we will hit the learning trail on Monday.>How about that car pickup down pour? Good times. We wrote our first word in cursive today: "it." Things are running along smoothly. REMINDER: We begin our early dismissal Wednesdays tomorrow. We will dismiss at 2:00. PARENTS: Can you find the statue of Abraham Lincoln on a penny? Your child can!!>We had some good citizens today that I would like to mention. *Rayleigh helped a child clean up spilled milk. *Anna picked up trash on the lunch table that was not hers without being asked to. I am proud of you ladies.>Your kids are AWESOME!!! I count it such a blessing to work with them everyday. We had another good citizen today! Alec picked up trash from the lunch table that was not his. He did this without prompting. I am proud of you, Alec!>REMINDER: T-shirt orders are due Wednesday. Thanks to Abram for being a good citizen today. He picked up trash in the classroom without being asked to. Great job, Abram!!>I am so impressed with how prompt everyone is getting to school. No tardies yet!! Keep up the good work. We had 2 good citizens today. Alexandra picked up trash on the playground and Austin helped another student find her place in our reading. I'm proud of you guys!!>We had such fun making flag cookies today! Thank you to Tammy Williams and Jeannie Jaladin for donating graham crackers and frosting for this project.
