Welcome to Kindergarten! We will be busy learning so much this year! In kindergarten, we will learn letters and their sounds along with some other "special" sounds to read short and long vowel words. We will also work in math to learn numbers which enable us to count, do math facts, tell time, count money, measure, pattern, and do many other math skills. We will study our country and the people that help make it such a great place. We will study how God created us for His glory and other fascinating things about His creation. We will study His Word to help us live the life He intended for us to live. As you can see, we will have so much fun learning all of these things and so many others in Kindergarten! We will not hide these truths from out children but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord. We will tell of His power and the mighty miracles He did. For he issued His decree to Jacob; He gave His law to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, so the next generation might know them-even the children not yet born-that they in turn might teach their children. So each generation can set its hope anew on God, remembering His glorious miracles and obeying His commands. Then they will not be like their ancestors- stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God. Psalm 78: 4-8
