WebQuests A WebQuest is defined as an inquiry-based activity that involves students in using web-based resources to complete a given meaningful learning task. Instead of using multiple search tools which involves considerable time, most or all of the information used by the students is found on pre-selected websites. Students can then focus on using web-based information to analyze, synthesis, and evaluate information to address high-level questions. The five parts of a WebQuest include: - introduction
- task
- process
- evaluation
- conclusion
Several WebQuests are listed below for students to complete for fun or enrichment. Some of the activities are for groups of students to complete but can be adapted for individual use. If a WebQuest is completed correctly and presented to the class, extra credit will be rewarded to the student.
