APTITUDE EXAMS PSAT: October 14th, 2011 All Oregon Sophomores & Signed-up Juniors. The testing fee for Juniors is $16, sign up & pay Mrs. Peters in the Activities Office by September 14th. SAT: Saturday, Oct 1 2011 and Dec 3 2011 at BHHS (Seniors take one of these / Juniors take the May or June test) Register & pay fees using the link listed at the bottom of this page. The November test is given at Gold Beach High School. Del Norte High School gives many during the year. Go to College Board to sign up for the specific locations. ACT: Given at BHHS April 11, 2011 Seniors sign-up for an earlier test. This date would work for Juniors. Register and pay fees using the link listed at the bottom of this page. Students signed up with ETS or are on Free/Reduced Lunches should check with the Guidance Office or Mrs. Livingston for a fee waiver for both the SAT and ACT. ASVAB: October 14, 2011 at BHHS The ASVAB is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. This test is given at BHHS to meet part of their Career Learning Standards. This test is scheduled for October 13, 2010. Because the ASVAB gives valuable aptitute information to students BHHS requests that the test is given to all juniors. BHHS signs an agreeement that test results are NOT automatically made available to any military organization. Though the military proctors the test, it is administered by a testing group and the results are only given to the military at the student's & parents request. Another opportunity to take the test will be given in February for those not able to take it in October. For more information on ASVAB go to the link below.
