GUIDELINES FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

• Meet the criteria and eligibility requirements.
• Meet the deadline date.
• Follow all directions exactly.
• Type the application whenever possible.
• If written, use blue or black ink only, never colored, never pencil
• If you have a choice between completing the application online or hard copy - choose the online application.
• Have someone proof read your application and essays before sending, one error could lose you $$$$$$. 
• When asking for recommendations, you should give them two weeks notice, your resume & activities chart, a stamped - addressed envelope. Don't forget to thank them.
• Start your own file; make copies of your recommendations and applications.
