Student Supplies I am the “bookstore” for our team, which includes Mr. Levis, Mrs. Barnett, Ms. Bayley, and Mrs. Whitaker. What this means is that I purchase supplies that the students need for class which students may purchase from me at the beginning of class. The inventory list with prices is included below. Any profit from the sale of these items is used for team-based incentives throughout the year. Composition Notebooks (required for all classes) $1.00 Wood Pencils $0.25 Mechanical Pencils $0.50 Lead refills for mechanical pencils $0.25/5 pieces $1.25/30 pieces Small Erasers $0.05 Eraser replacement for mechanical pencils $0.05 (while supplies last) Ink pens (black, blue, red, green, orange, purple) $0.25 Course Expectations The complete course expectations has all the information you would ever need to have about my English Class. You will find a grading scale, scope and purpose, behavior management plan, category weights, and contact information. Nevada Analytic Scoring Guide The Nevada Analytic Scoring Guide is the rubric I use to grade a student's writing on the traits of Ideas/Contenct Development, Organization, Voice and Conventions. The students all have a copy of each rubric in their English binder and they have all been trained on how to look at writing using the rubrics.
