Online English Grammar
This site has a lot of helpful information if you can get past the ads and the poor layout of the homepage. Most of the information you will need for my class from this site will be listed under "Grammar." If you go immediately to this button at the top, it gives you some excellent grammar rules and examples to help with homework. |

About.com English Guide
This site has a lot of helpful activities, worksheets, and online content to help with understanding grammar and its usage. Be aware that only the information in the center is free; there are "advertisements" on either side and the format is somewhat difficult to sort through. You may want to have an adult or older sibling help you wade through the information to get what you really need. |

Compass Learning
This is an excellent site that Saville students have access to. When prompted to enter a user name and password, the students are to use their student id number from school. I have chosen specific activities based on each student's achievement level to have them complete assignments to learn concepts we are learning in class. Any assignments that students do on their own will count as extra credit. |

This site is an extension of the resource handbook we use in class. It gives lists of topics for different kinds of writing for those writers having a difficult time coming up with a topic. |
