Welcome! Fourth Grade Welcome to our classroom website! The 2011-2012 school year will be jam packed with great fun, lots of learning, and many memories. Open Enrollment: Starting January 30th, the Academy will begin open enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year. We would like to encourage you to invite any friends and family members that you think would make a nice addition to our MCMA family. Please encourage them to visit the school. The administration will give them on a tour of the building to see our wonderful students at work as well as provide them with the application information. Thank you for supporting our GREAT school!

Scholastic Book Orders I have exciting news . . .You can now place your Scholastic Book Club orders online! Please note the website above which allows you to place your order online using a credit/debit card. Note: March’s book project is a genre of choice, however Magic Tree House books will not be allowed this time. The children are required to pick a book with at least 100 pages. Binders: Please be sure you are checking your child’s S.M.A.R.T.(Students Making Academic Responsibilities Together) binder every night. It is important that we all work together to help your child shine this school year. Timed Math Tests: Please encourage your child to practice their basic facts. They are given 2 minutes to complete 50 basic fact questions for each operation (+,-, x, & /). Click here for Math Fact Practice sheets. Allow for 30 seconds per half sheet (12 problems). Remind your child to skip any problems they do not know immediately. After the 30 seconds, circle the ones that were left blank or incorrect and have your child copy the problem and the answer 10 times each. Here are a few links to teacher pages: Mt.
