This year, I will incoporate technology into the everyday learning of my students. Children today are 21st century learners and I am trying to prepare them by using up to date technology. Throughout the year, the children will collaborate together in small groups and create, THEMSELVES, PowerPoint presentations, Blabberize projects, Wordles, Tagxedos and other forms of technology showcasing knowledge aquired in the classroom. This project based learning allows the students to create projects to show their acquisition of knowledge while preparing themselves for our world of technology. The creation of these projects will focus on higher order thinking, depth of knowledge, teamwork and communication. Deer Point Elementary's state of the art technology makes it simple to explore new ways of learning and create amazing project-based assessments.
