Student Created PowerPoint and Photo Story Presentations This year I will incorporate technology into the everyday learning of my students. Children today are 21st century learners and I plan to prepare them using up to date technology daily. At the end of each nine weeks, the children will collaborate together in small groups and create, THEMSELVES, a PowerPoint or Photo Story presentation showcasing knowledge aquired in the classroom. This will be a crucial project-based assessment that will introduce these first graders to the real world. The creation of these presentations will focus on higher order thinking, depth of knowledge, teamwork and communication.
