All About Mrs. Parker

My name is Alison Parker and I have been teaching here at Patronis for ten years. I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have earned my Reading Endorsement and have become a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. My husband, Dalton, and I have a five year old named Jackson who will be starting kindergarten this year. He will be in Mrs. McGonagil's class. We have two dogs, Max Parker (black lab) and Bailey (rescued dog). I love looping from kindergarten to first grade and am really looking forward the second year of this loop! My best friend is Mrs. Hull, who I had the pleasure of co-teaching with for many years. She is now a fourth grade gifted teacher, but no worries, because we are still "The Dream Team" and have many goals set for ourselves in the areas of research and professional development! My first grade friends this year will still get to be a part of Mrs. Hull's class because we will be reading buddies with her fourth graders. We are in the process of planning fun and exciting learning activites for the school year!
