It's time for the Physics Olympics!

When?  Saturday, November 22; 8:30am - 1:30pm

Where? Science Building at Buffalo State College.
 

What is it all about?
 
Physics Olympics involves problem solving, creativity, quick thinking, teamwork, some luck, and a lot of fun.  Students work in teams of 2-5 students in order to complete three different Physics Olympics events, rotating from one event to another.  One event always involves an egg, while others involve anything from balloons to lasers to blowdryers!  All events require thinking, strategy, performance, and teamwork.  You get free food, a fun time, and a free t-shirt just for participating.  Also, there are various prizes at the end!

Every year is so much fun...it's worth going to for sure!

Schedule for the day:
 
8:30-8:50 Registration, Foyer of the Science Building.

8:50-9:45 Event 1

9:55-10:50 Event 2

11:00-11:55 Event 3

12:00-12:30 Free Lunch (Pizza and Stuff!)

12:30-1:15 Demonstration show

1:15-1:30 Awards

If you want to join, you need to tell me by next Friday, November 14th, either in person or by e-mail.  There are spots for 12 students.  It is based on a first come, first serve basis!  Remember that teams are from 2 - 5 members.
