After reading the story "The Right Dog for the Job," we had guest speaker Carle Welter and her puppy in training, Spot, come to teach us about how a dog becomes a guide dog!

In January, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Just like Martin Luther King Jr. had dreams and goals, our students also have dreams and goals for themselves and their families.

Our students wrote well wishes and holiday greetings to be mailed to deployed military members in Afghanistan! This is just one small way our students can show their thanks for everything the military has done for us! =)
