Grant M's grandma had breast cancer at an early age (mid 50's). She's doing great! We'll be praying for you, your mother, and your family.

ORIGINAL POST Mrs. Chastain's Second Grade Blog Breast Cancer I feel like I am always asking you to pray for me on this blog, but what can I say?!  It has been a long year.  Now something new has been added to my plate.  I just found out that my mom has breast cancer.  She was going in to have an elective surgery on something else, and one of her pre-op tests was a mammogram.  Without the mammogram, she wouldn't have found the cancer.  I am thankful to God for that.  I pray that they caught it in time.  She remains positive, as do I.  My mom is pretty young to me.  She is going to be 49 in July.  I can't stress how important early detection is.  Please tell every woman in your life or family to get yearly tests and to do self-exams.  « back | comment »
