Welcome to 2nd grade!

Donations Needed for November Reading Unit:  My reading class is in need of clear, clean, plastic, 2 Liter bottles (please tear the labeling off),index cards,and lots of scotch tape.  We are doing a project called the "Mayflower Mobile".  Please send in anything you can.  I greatly appreciate all of your help.  Thank you so very very very much!

Singapore Math is in full swing and the students are doing very well!

We have been using a new strategy in class and throughout the school called "ACE".  It stands for A-answer the question, C-Cite evidence,  and E-explain your answer.  Here is a website that explains and gives examples of ACE.  Your child will see this next year as well.
