Early Childhood is for children 3 years of age.

Is sending your child to Early Childhood the right thing to do?  Will you be welcomed to participate in your child's class?  The simplest answer is YES!  Early Childhood is fun, educational, and social.  Exposure to other children in a class setting is helpful to your child and will allow for an easier transition to Pre-K and Kindergarten.  Your child will grow developmentally, socially, physically, and emotionally.  The program will provide your child with learning experiences through the following experiences: hands on activities, reading, music, and other age appropriate activities.  I will encourage your child to be independent and will help them build their self-estem.  Yes, we play - but remember that children do learn as they play. They will develop skills in socialization, cooperative learning, sharing, communication, and just plain fun.
As for your role as the parent in Early Childhood.  We encourage your participation in your child's education.  You will be provided with opportunities to volunteer for activities and special occasions.  Communication between the school and the parent is very important.  Please feel free to stop in and see me to discuss your child.
