3rd Quarter update!!!

The Algebra 1 classes will be finishing Chapter 5 material this week and will be taking their fourth test of 3rd quarter on Chapter 5 (sections 2-4) EARLY next week (3/9/2010)...

IMPORTANT NOTE for ALGEBRA 1 8th GRADE students - answers to problems #9, #10, & #13 are listed below.

#9 - 13.41 sq. ft.

#10 - 5.98 sq. ft.

#13 - 8.09 sq. ft.

These answers are so that you can complete the rest of the assignment correctly. To receive bonus points, work (using trigonometry) to find these answers MUST BE SHOWN on your answer sheet.

Mr. Pabst

P.S. Here are some questions I have:

Why do people pay to go up to the top of tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the  ground?

Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

Do Chinese people get English sayings tattooed on their bodies?

Why do they use sterilzed needles for lethal injections?

Why do they call the small candy bars the "fun sizes"? Wouldn't it be more fun to eat a big candy bar?

Since there is a rule that states "i" before "e" except after "c", isn't "science" spelled wrong?
