NC Project

The North Carolina project is a yearlong project intended to introduce students to the creation of a well-documented research paper.  This will help prepare them for the many papers that they will be assigned in coming years.  As such, they will be introduced to the mechanics of planning a long-term project, setting schedules, researching data, acknowledging the work of others with a good bibliography, and more.  This report has extensive instructions intended to provide the scaffolding they will need to prepare this document.  It is not intended to be a professional document but a beginner's entry into research paper writing.  If they follow the instructions given, they will receive an A.  There is room for extra credit.  The paper will not be scrutinized for every error. It will be a general overview with emphasis on FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS!
