Vision Fest 2010
About VisionFest VisionFest is a juried student animation festival and competition being held October 22nd through 24th, 2010 at the Indiana University School of Informatics in Indianapolis, Indiana. First established in 2005, VisionFest is one of the few festivals of its kind open only to student work in animation and games/interactive arts. Its mission is to create an environment of imagination, inspiration and education between emerging student talent and established industry leaders. Who is invited to submit work to VisionFest? High school, undergraduate and graduate students from across the globe are invited to submit their work for competition and screening by July 28th, 2010. To date, more than 250 talented students representing nine countries and 56 schools have been part of VisionFest. What are the competition categories and awards? Students may submit work in the two following categories: * Animation (both 2D and 3D) * Games/Interactive arts. Each category is divided into three levels of competition distinguishing high school, undergraduate and graduate students. Recognition is given in each category at each level of competitions. Audience Choice Awards in each category will be determined during the festival. Overall Best-in-Category winners will receive cash awards.
