‘Quick Bites’ from the

A quick response to some common questions asked by FRC families.

We hope it is helpful!

*A 90-minute delay in school due to inclement weather means the FRC will open at 8:00 a.m. for children registered for the before school program only. FRC kindergarten students registered for the day in the a.m. and p.m. classes may be dropped off when school starts at 10:00 a.m. or ride the regular bus to school. (We have to give the town time to get the parking lots and sidewalks treated)

(We follow the school districts cold weather policy. If the temperature is 20 degrees or higher with the wind chill, we will be going outside.)

*The FRC closes at 5:45 p.m. every day of the week (with the exception of inclement weather).

(There is an extra charge for late pick-ups. If you are running late please call and let us know so we can reassure your child.) BG 870-6750 ext. 6, TIS 870-6855 ext. 200)

*The FRC is closed during winter break in December. We will reopen January 5, 2009. The FRC is open for February and April vacations. (Please look for registration forms as we get closer to these particular weeks.) There is an additional charge for these days.

Registration will begin Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Our program is first open to families already enrolled in our program. On Monday, February 2, 2009, we will open registration to the public. In order for your child to be guaranteed a spot again next year, a new form has to be filled out before February 2, 2009.

Summer Camp Registration  Registration will begin Monday, March 2, 2009 for children enrolling in our full week camp.  Partial week registration will begin on Monday, March 30, 2009.
