It’s almost time for Kindergarten registration in Tolland! If your child will be 5 years old by December 31, 2010 and lives in Tolland, your child is eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2010 – 2011 school year. There are two steps to completing the registration process

Step 1. Attend the informational meeting. An informational meeting is planned for the parents of all incoming Kindergartners. The meeting will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 7:00pm at Birch Grove Primary School, 247 Rhodes Road, Tolland. You do not need to register for this meeting. Children should not attend this meeting. At this meeting, parents will receive all the forms and information needed to register for Kindergarten.

Step 2. Bring your paperwork to Birch Grove School.  Parents should plan on attending the meeting and then submitting their paperwork to the Birch Grove School main office during the official Kindergarten Registration Week, March 22 – 26, 2010. The hours for Kindergarten Registration Week will be:

Monday, March 22 : 10:00am-2:30pm
Tuesday, March 23: 10:00am-2:30pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm
Wednesday, March 24: 10:00am-2:30pm
Thursday, March 25: 10:00am-2:30pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm
Friday, March 26: 10:00am-2:30pm

Any child who is registered during Kindergarten Registration Week will receive a free “Class of 2023” t-shirt.
