Reading & Writing Informational Articles
Reading:
Choose informational articles that interest you. You may read the articles in the magazines provided or go to one of the following sites:
Choose at least 3 articles. Then determine how the text features helped you better understand the text. Also, explain how additional text features could have been used in the text to help the reader better understand.
Writing:
Research a topic of interest to you. Plan and write an article that includes text features to inform your audience about the topic.

Script Writing
Reading:
You will choose a scary story of your choice from the project link below or from one of the books I will provide. After choosing your story you will complete the graphic organizer on the project link on the Step 2: Read a Scary Story section.
Writing:
You will be writing a script based on the story you chose and will perform the story. Click on the picture to the project link below. Read the Home page and then complete the Step pages in order. Hint: Before you start working you should read the Stop! Check out the Rubric! section to get a better idea of what will be expected of you.
