4th Stage Gym Classes

PE classes begin gym sessions for the 2nd stage.    Activities included for this 9-week class include but are not limited to:

Indoor activities -- team games that include -- flag football, volleyball, soccer, speedball; winter games of basketball, floor hockey, and badminton; and the spring sports of track & field and kickball.

Outdoor activities include: power walking (Wednesday's); conditioning activities (Friday's) that include a mile run and a 1/4 mile run

Weight Room conditioning takes place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Off Campus activities: conditioning at local parks (Union Park and at the lakefront); biking, roller-blading; ice skating (only during the 2nd & 3rd stages) and bowling.

Students are required to purchase and wear the HT gym outfit that includes: HT blue gym t-shirt, HT blue gym shorts, white socks & gym shoes.   When the weather is cool, students MAY also wear appropriate sweat shirts and sweat pants on top of the required HT gym outfit.

Students are graded for being COMPLETELY prepared for gym class, participating in each class and completed both the condtioning and PE tests during any stage class.
