"Before words were written, thoughts were painted on the walls of caves"

First graders learned about the first prehistoric artists who left us paintings on cave walls over 17,000 years ago.  Images of people, animals and symbols were drawn, painted or carved into the surface of the rock to tell stories.  Here are some of our great stories.
